Introduction
My name is Chris McConnell and I am the Founder and CEO of The 5000 Music Group. I want to personally welcome you to the first annual international talent search put on by The 5000 Music Group. This is an exciting time to be a Christian musician. Digital music sales are on the rise (they grew by 40% last year) and Christian music continues to be in demand. Now, more than ever before, opportunities are arising that let developing artists and bands improve and find professional success. Our talent search was built from the ground up to do one thing — help you reach your goals.

Something Different
This Christian music talent search is not about finding artists and bands that want to strike it rich or want to become famous — we are looking for artists that are storing up riches in Heaven and who want to make God famous.

You may know that there are many different talent competitions available for Christian musicians to enter. Some are regional events while others aspire to be the biggest and the best. The problem I have found with each of these models is that they either do not offer any tangible value to participating artists or the end up missing some great talent. This talent search is different for a number of reasons. Aside from the great prize packages we offer practical advice and tips in the form of an A&R assessment to every artist that registers, additional video and photo promotion and exposure through our site, networking opportunities and playing experience. No matter where you are in your musical career, I am confident that we have something of significant value to offer to you.
